IndiGo to give 25% discount on airfare to doctors and nurses till year-end

Passenger loads continue to be low in domestic flights, the operations of which resumed on May 25 after a gap of two months. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Twitter on Thursday that 71,471 passengers travelled on 785 flights on July 1. This means, on an average, there were 91 passengers in a plane on Wednesday.

Banking Act amendment is credit positive for depositors, says Moody's

Yes Bank was the latest to be put under moratorium on March 5 after it failed to raise capital in time. Depositors could not withdraw more than Rs 50,000 from their accounts. Also, electronic transactions to and from Yes Bank accounts were frozen, causing some borrowers to miss their monthly payments. Moody's said the new amendments will help depositor confidence.

The trains on this route can run at a speed of 130 km per hour. In this financial year, trains are expected to run at this speed on these two routes."
